A building in eclectic neoclassic style
In 1872 the entrepreneur Alessandro Rossi, seen the progressive increase of the female manpower in his woolen mill, made to build a kindergarten in the district worker, more precisely in the Street Pasubio, able to entertain up to 150 children.
Nevertheless in 1881 seen the increasing number of applications it was widened and then it was able to entertain up to 500 children. It served its purpose until the early nineties.
Unfortunately in 2009 a disastrous fire has risked to destroy forever this building. Fortunately the jobs of restauration starts immediately and the ex kindergarten was put in safety and they are still in progress.
This ex kindergarten is a homage that the entrepreneur Alessandro Rossi wanted for his workers, for Schio and still today this work is remembered with affection and a pinch of nostalgia by the scledensis.
