The visit begins in Schio with the famous Rossi Wool Mill (18/7 -/849 and later) the Fabbrica Alta (/862) and the picluresque Jacquard Garden (/859 -/878), then conlinues on to the Cazzola Wool Mill (/860), stili operoling wilhin the evocative almosphere of the ancient sawtooth-roof pavilions dominated by the loity chimney 

Other similar vertical structures indicate Ihe presence of the ancienl silk mills which characterise the area from Schio, where the excellent re-use of the nineteenth-century Bressan Silk Mill as an Old People's Home can be admired in the Magrè neighbourhood, to Isola Vicenlina, with Ihe splendid former Bonazzi Silk Mill. In Malo, the real silk capitai, a visit should be mode lo the remains of the Maule Massignan Silk Mill, as well 05 to the former Corielli Silk Mill, where the inleresting Museum of the arls of Silk-making has been opened far educalional purposes, and is housed in Ihe owner's residence now belonging to Ihe municipality.
